Who we are

Iron Sharpens Iron

Men need other men to become men. Without positive male role models, men we will not know what it means to be a healthy man in different contexts, whether at work or in the family. All men are welcome. Whether a man has a faith or none, we are all on a journey through this life, and it is better shared with others than travelled alone. We can all learn from each other and support one another within meaningful and deep relationships.
We are a Christian family, striving to know and love God through Jesus Christ and enjoy making Him known through all that we do and say. We are by no means perfect, and with God’s help strive to become the men God created us to be. In 2017 we look forward to a new format in our men’s ministry – where we are going to build on and fine-tune current events to provide a wider range of ministry.
We shall continue our Mens Breakfast’s at Christ Church Creekmoor on Saturday mornings from 9am – 10:30am – where we shall now be discussing and exploring “What does it mean to be human?”
We are starting a new discussion group called “Iron sharpens Iron” – as we believe that men can help other men walk in their faith. These meetings will also take place at Christ Church Creekmoor on Saturday mornings from 9am – 10:30am initially, but times may change.
We are also continuing our visit to The Acorn on Thursdays – with the aim to meet and get to know other people and specifically men in our local community; and to help spread the love and joy of Jesus. Times will be confirmed soon.
Our anual Men’s weekend away shall be in September on the 15th – 17th; this year we hope to be going to Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest. We shall also be going on another walk on April 29th.
